Pregnancy Massage utilises many different kinds of remedial and gentle massage techniques.

My treatments offers an amazing, safe and supportive bolster cushion that supports the pelvic region whilst gently hammocking the stomach in the early and mid-stages for those dying to lie face down. In the late stages we move to a beautiful supported side-lying treatment that gives access to all of those achy glutes and low back muscles, not forgetting the feet, legs, neck, and shoulders. Oncology Massage

The SOMA Room oncology massage in Adelaide is a very specialised treatment is for bodies traveling through cancer all stages of Cancer and including recovery or Palliative. It is based on relaxation and nurture. It is an extremely gentle and slow treatment speaking to calm the nervous system and pain receptors allowing for time to feel loved, nurtured, and space to process all. Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

The SOMA Room Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) massage in Adelaide it’s a different type of massage that works with the lymphatic system. MLD is a very gentle surface stretching technique designed to lift lymphatic vessels which carry substances vital to the body’s defences and remove waste products, along with stimulating the nodes. The lymph system is amazing but very slow. It relies on movement to keep the system flowing so sedentary hours and tight clothes amongst other things can really hinder its clearing and delivery process.

Having a MLD treatment is like getting a skip bin, for your system, for the weekend!

It is effective both as a preventative treatment and as a postoperative rehabilitation treatment

Somatic Processing

Our SOMA Room somatic processing is an alternative to talk therapy. It’s a deep dive into the unconscious mind to where we have at some point in our lifetime we have needed to survive from a flight, flight, freeze, or fawn state of nervous system and have consequently been left with repeating negative patterns, triggers, and frustrations. This process is gentle and works in a semi-hypnotic state (fully aware) to access these buried emotions and process them to their entirety allowing for resolution, peace, and new beginnings. I work with NLP, Embodied Processing, Root Cause Therapy and timeline therapy
